Wang Lab

        Our research group at SUNY-Albany focus on important questions in synthetic organic chmeistry. We are interested in the total synthesis of natural products with intriguing structures and important biological activities. We hope medicinal chemistry will benefit from our research achievements. Another field we are curious is the biomimetic synthesis of natural products. We aim to identify nature's expertise in organic synthesis and develop chemical transformations that have been hidden in nature.
